InfoSERVER brings MOBCash to the market, a solution destined for banking services that turns fixed functionalities, like issuance of bank statements as well as deposits and payments, into mobile applications.
Services that used to be available only at the bank teller's counter, now can be carried out anywhere, either inside or outside the bank branch facilities. "With this technology, financial institutions streamline services and seize new business opportunities. The improved communication between the database and the teller enables more effective and straightforward approaches. By providing services based on each account holder's profile, there are greater chances of closing deals and disclosing the features available at the bank branch. "Moreover, the solution enables a reduction of operating costs and lines", says Abel Aarão, Architecture and SQA director for InfoSERVER.
In order to ensure the safety of operations, MOBCash relies on a high level cryptography system during the entire information flow. The access to the solution is also restricted in order to avoid frauds: the teller is prompted to provide authentication to carry out any transaction. "Since data is transferred directly to the bank's head offices and no information is stored in the equipment, we improve safety and reduce risks otherwise posed to the user", explains Abel.
