VCP organizes its projects of IT with support of InfoSERVER

To control the phases of a project through digital documentation was the main challenge of the VCP - Votorantim Cellulose and Paper, contracted InfoSERVER to be responsible for the supply of the application. The solutions of GED and workflow had provided to one better management on the projects and control of its documentation.
With located units manufacter in Jacareí, Piracicaba, Mogi of Crosses and Luiz Antônio (SP), VCP always bet in Information Technology as a way to increase its businesses and keeping its competitiveness in the market.
This is the necessity to control its projects of IT, from a simple maintenance to a most complex. Ally to this, was essential to control the flow, the useful life and the document storage created to during the project – before dispersed in particular folders of the involved ones (acts of meeting, proposals internal techniques, schedules and its updates, and others).
InfoSERVER, that already had know-how through an internal system for the control of the projects in progress, studied the necessity of VCP and considered the construction of a system in Web environment, using resources of workflow and GED (Electronic Document Management) for the storage of digital information.
InfoSERVER used the SQL Server database for the storage of the data and structuration of the File System to store the archives.
“The success was conquered in the first phase, because it allowed a simple and efficient instrument to the internal community of the TI”, said Sergio Bosso, manager of Consultoria business-oriented of IT. The current phase evolves from scope system to control of hours and expenditures of the projects, with the integration of these functionalities to system SAP R/3 4.6c.
