Danfoss celebrates success with partnership of InfoSERVER

Developed by InfoSERVER, using a Microsoft solution, the implantation of the system for thermal load calculation and election of controls and condensing units will increase the participation of the Danfoss in the market of deliverers and installers of its products for diminishing the cycle of the projects.

Danfoss – a Danish group that acts in sectors of refrigeration and industrial automation, with presence in five continents and regional headquarters in Brazil - constantly invests in modernization and research of components for the most diverse industrial areas. In 2002, the subsidiary Brazilian initiated the project of elaboration of software PHD, system for thermal load calculation that allows the choice of the OPs component necessary for the control of a refrigerating chamber.

One of the priorities of the company was develop a tool for the distribution to customers that facilitated its daily routines. InfoSERVER used a Microsoft solution to develop the system.

The choice of the solution had as condition to guarantee that the system was operated by any user, and easy to implement. “It had a necessity to be a light application, beyond offer a differential from the concurrent”, said Marcelo Rasp, responsible Engineer for the project in Danfoss.

In the half of 2002, InfoSERVER integrator and the team of Danfoss had started the studies to define the project and how to place it in practical.

According to Sandro Sandanelli, Danfoss’s Division Manager of Brazil Refrigeration, the solution provided important profits in two highly critical areas: improve the satisfaction of the customer, also the definition of the time for the elaboration of the projects, what reduced this cycle.

“After creating this system, Danfoss started to have a very attractive differential in relation to the competitors because it reduces the time of execution of the projects and increases quality”, said Marta Alves, InfoSERVER’s manager - responsible for the project of the Danfoss.

In a second phase, of this year, other units of the corporation will adopt the software. The implementation process starts in Latin America and will be converted for the platform mobile. So, the same system – that today runs in desktops – will be used in Pocket PCs.
