Company of services increases income using Microsoft platform

Legal professional corporation, through the partnership with InfoSERVER, reduced operational costs after centering and automatizing the processes with the implementation of Windows 2000.

The lender of legal services needed to update the Windows NT 4.0 platform, besides controlling and organizing the flow of its documents. Also, faced unexpected stops in the server Exchange 2000 and its business did not allow such imperfection because the invoicing depends exactly on sale’s information. Contracting InfoSERVER provided to a bigger productivity and the consequent growth in the invoicing of the organization.

After a survey of the server and profiles of the internal users of the organization, InfoSERVER detected that some of the areas of the company had an extensive database. The suggestion was to distribute the load in more servers, what it allowed a bigger availability of the Exchange. With this, a better flow in the exchange of information with the customers increased an addition in its income. This, happened because of the increase of the satisfaction of the internal user had the chance to improve its productivity. The increment in the income also was stimulated because it was possible to center, to automatize the processes and to reduce the costs.

The solution proposal was the implementation of a Microsoft platform, with Windows 2000 Server, Exchange 2000, Conference Server and SQL Server 2000 and development of a system of workflow, also carried through professionals of InfoSERVER, lined up to the requirements of organization and hierarchy of the customer.

The project, initiate in November of 2002, was implemented in January of this year and is in full production with 12 involved servers in the process.
